Why is the "Halo" franchise considered to be the most overrated games ever?
It’s probably my favorite FPS game on the market, but I’m willing to admit it’s not the best. I love Half-Life, Doom, Left 4 Dead, and Call of Duty, too. I consider Halo to be fun, but not the best game ever.

However, I noticed Halo is also the most hated game out there. Everybody saying it’s "so ****ing overrated" or "the worst game man has created." I know it’s the most popular FPS, and some people even consider it the best.

Like I said, I don’t think it’s the best game ever neither do I think it’s very overrated. I DO think it has too much attention compared to Half-Life and Gears of War, however. But it’s a perfectly good franchise.

I need to ask some of you, maybe even some Halo haters. Why do people consider Halo so overrated when it’s actually more hated than anything else?

IMO, by the way. Pokemon is the most overrated franchise made. I mean, it’s not even the best RPG out there compared to Final Fantasy VII. My poor, poor Legend of Zelda… Reputation completely ruined by the Pokemon fanboys.
Yeah, Halo is my favorite FPS franchise but COD: Modern Warfare 2 is probably my favorite FPS out there.

I think that’s the case with most games that have risen to fame quickly enough, and gained a following. After a while, people stop seeing the good points of the game and start to only see the flaws, and rant about it. I think all the games you’ve listed (not having played the latter 3 though lol but having heard a bit about them) are all good in their own unique way, and they all have their flaws, as does the halo franchise…And the fact that bill gates and windows live are one of the most hated industry juggernauts does not help much =)

There may be that guy who lays in there bed all day with a DS and LOVE pokemon. Its just an opinion.

It seems too be an on going war with Halo and Modern Warfare. But really there two diffrent games completely it just depends on your taste. Halo is a more tactic game as you need too strafe more and call out in that game. Mw2 is more on the lines of having a fast reaction time <–IMO. DONT JUDGE GAMES BY REVIEWS!

Well, too be honest, Halo, in my opinion, is a pretty decent franchise, yet, as you stated, is very hated. There are MANY Halo fans out there and MANY Halo haters at the same time. However, it seems that the Halo fanboys and COD fanboys seem to dislike eachother a lot, which stirs up more hate. It’s considered overrated by those who hate it because of the passion of the true Halo fans. You have obviously opened your eyes to the bullshit and realize that people need to accept some games are good to some people and some games are fucking God-awful to others. It’s overrated by those who have an intense passion for it. Or, simplified: It’s overrated by those who do, in fact, over-rate it.

Why my boyfriend doesn't contact me much during the week? Please help!?
I see my boyfriend every weekend (spend all the weekend with him from Friday evening to Sunday night), he doesn’t bother to call me over the week to ask about my day etc, he used to also text more during the week, now he only texts once or twice a week (for example to tell me that a film I like is on telly etc). That doesn’t make much sense to me and I dont wanna tell him that its upsetting me cause I don’t wanna put him off. Well its a good sign that he sees you at weekends cause a lot of ‘lads’ go out with their mates to pubs clubs at the weekend and some of them do it to pick up but he spends it with you. You’re probably with him longer now so he doesn’t have as much to say so doesn’t bother. It means that its something to look forward to when you see and hear of each other less. I think its for the best.

Why don’t you see him during the week? I only see my bf at weekends but he works night shift and I work day shift but he phones me at the same time every night, even though the conversation only lasts 1 minute. I am a lot older than you, 53 and he is 49 but from previous experience since my divorce guys phoned during the week and the young guys I work with text their gf during the day and see them some nights as well as weekends. If there is a good reason why you don’t see him during the week like work or distance then when you are cuddling up at the weekend ask him, in the weak feeble female voice ‘do you miss me during the week when we are not cuddling up together like this’ he will say ‘of course I do’ then you ask ‘why do you never phone me during the week’ -by this time you are snuggling into him and kissing his neck- Or like most guys he will ask why you don’t phone him? Ideas for a title for this book?
So in my story a girl named Kaycee, her sister Sara, and her parents move in to a house because her father was relocated due to his job. Kaycee and Sara are rummaging through the attic one day to find the diary of a girl named Dianna who used to live in the house. Kaycee reads the diary, and a finds that some of the same occurrences in the diary are happening to Kaycee. Kaycee does some more research on Dianna and figures out that she was kidnapped years ago. Kaycee fears that the happenings are leading up to her own kidnapping.

Building and painting my first bobber, could use some experienced builders help?
FIRST OFF, IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PAINTING OR BOBBING/CHOPPING MOTORCYCLES, GO ANSWER SOMETHING ELSE. Got my first bike. Its a 1982 Yamaha Maxim xj400. I have been riding it for a few months the way it is but now but ive decided to do a total repaint of all the chrome, frame, plastics, forks and bars black. So basically im blacking this bike out. Ive already painted everything flatblack with high heat paint and it turned out great. But now i want to go with the whole bike gloss black. there is no clearcoat on anything yet, so im gonna spray dupi-color gloss black engine enamel over everything and maybe clearcoat. Im assuming the flat black will work as a great primer even though that wasnt its intended purpose? Also this bike being a mono-shock under the seat, how would i go about bobbing the back end of the bike? The only bobbers i can find close to mine are the 650xs. they have the 2 shocks on the back sides. I dont want to hardtail it unless someone knows where i can get a kit or instructions to do this. Ive got all shop tools and a welder and the know-how, i just need to know some steps or tips? Im leaving a back fender off for the finished product, just need to know how to chop the frame and relocate anything that needs it.
