How come there are people that are dissing and bothering me so much because of my choice of marriage ?
I’m having a very huge headache right now because there are people who are dissing me and bothering me so much. I’m an 19 year old Asian American teenage boy and I’m Vietnamese and I’m going to be marrying a girl from Vietnam because of my lack of being able to get a date. I’ve tried asking girls out a lot but a lot of them rejected me so much and It looks like I will never be able to find a girl on my own. I’ve talked with my mother and she says she will ask one of my aunts to find me a Vietnamese Girl from Vietnam for me to marry. But when I’ve announced that I will be getting married in Vietnam, all of them dissed me and called me a D-Bag and a flamer. They laughed and threw food at me during lunch at an Sonic Restaurant. They said that I’m supporting the Vietnamese Communist by marrying a girl from Vietnam and that I’m stupid and retarded. I mean I don’t care If i support them or not but as long as I have a wife then I’m happy. I mean in Vietnam at this age you’re expected to be dating girls to find yourself a wife in the future, but a lot of people prefer an arranged marriage in Vietnam because it is easy. I mean I would love the girl who I’m going to marry and treat her with respect but a lot of them are calling me names and stuffs and It’s giving me a headache. They also threatened to kill her and wished bad diseases on my future family. I had to go to my family doctor today for the headaches and he is sending me to get a Cat Scan. My friends are American Guys who grew up in the united states just like me but they have more luck with girls than I do. Why are they dissing and bothering me so much ??? How come they called me names like that ?? Can they just understand that it’s part of my culture ?? After marrying her I’m going to bring her to the states to live with me.

No animal should be in captivity. But, since humans are encroaching into the wild so much, it may be the only way that anyone will ever see them. Also, by having animals captive, it may spur some scientific study into how to protect them better in the wild etc. So, no, it is not ideal, but sometimes it is necessary.
I don’t find them being taught tricks for food very scientific or particularly entertaining. However, it is sadly ironic that this form of entertainment is used to raise money for scientific projects to help the animals in the wild.

Building and painting my first bobber, could use some experienced builders help?
FIRST OFF, IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PAINTING OR BOBBING/CHOPPING MOTORCYCLES, GO ANSWER SOMETHING ELSE. Got my first bike. Its a 1982 Yamaha Maxim xj400. I have been riding it for a few months the way it is but now but ive decided to do a total repaint of all the chrome, frame, plastics, forks and bars black. So basically im blacking this bike out. Ive already painted everything flatblack with high heat paint and it turned out great. But now i want to go with the whole bike gloss black. there is no clearcoat on anything yet, so im gonna spray dupi-color gloss black engine enamel over everything and maybe clearcoat. Im assuming the flat black will work as a great primer even though that wasnt its intended purpose? Also this bike being a mono-shock under the seat, how would i go about bobbing the back end of the bike? The only bobbers i can find close to mine are the 650xs. they have the 2 shocks on the back sides. I dont want to hardtail it unless someone knows where i can get a kit or instructions to do this. Ive got all shop tools and a welder and the know-how, i just need to know some steps or tips? Im leaving a back fender off for the finished product, just need to know how to chop the frame and relocate anything that needs it.

Long yet touching story-Read if you want ?
Last week I was in Toronto, Ontario attending a conference. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.

Moving through the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering.

When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for, it hit me. I’m not alone. I’m not the only Canadian who still loves this country and supports our troops and their families.

I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so we can go to church, school, work and home without fear or reprisal.

Just when I thought I could not be more proud of my country or of our service men and women, a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old, ran up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said ‘hi.’

The little girl then asked him if he would give something
to her daddy for her.

The young soldier, who didn’t look any older than maybe 22 himself, said he would try and what did she want to give to her Daddy. Then suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek.

The mother of the little girl, who said her daughter’s name was Courtney, told the young soldier that her husband was a Soldier and had been in Afghanistan for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her daughter Courtney missed her father, the young soldier began to tear up.

When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation, all of the soldiers huddled together for a brief second. Then one of the other servicemen pulled out a military-looking walkie-talkie. They started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it..

After about 10-15 seconds of this, the young soldier walked back over to Courtney, bent down and said this to her, ‘I spoke to your daddy and he told me to give this to you.’ He then hugged this little girl that he had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying ‘your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and he is coming home very soon.’

The mom at this point was crying almost uncontrollably and as the young soldier stood to his feet, he saluted Courtney and her mom. I was standing no more than 6 feet away from this entire event.

As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people resumed their applause. As I stood there applauding and looked around, there were very few dry eyes, including my own. That young soldier in one last act of selflessness, turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney with a tear rolling down his cheek.

We need to remember everyday all of our soldiers and their families and thank God for them and their sacrifices. At the end of the day, it’s good to be a Canadian

What was this weird free feeling?
ok, so I was watching a movie (the last mimzy) one night and somewhere near the end the kid in the movie did this humming buzzing noise with his throught. You probably know what I mean if you’ve seen the movie. Anyway, when the kid made that noise, I don’t know why but it made me feel joyful and excited. it seemed like it was filling me up. I felt like I was flying. That is exactly what I was thinking. the first thing that came to my mind was "This is flying" but I knew where I was and everything. I felt free and happy. It lasted about 3 minutes. It was powerful and impossible to ignore. So now that you know the details, here is my question: Does anybody know what happened here? pretty general question but please don’t give me any smart-ass answers.

It could be that you are suffering just a little bit from depression, and when you heard this particular sound or humming, it lifted your spirits! I suffer for GAD and depression and music is good for you. There is a particular little tune called "the music box". When I feel really down I play this tune and it helps to lift my spirits and actually makes me feel a little bit better for a while. I hope you can relate to this, and if it makes you feel good try to download whatever the humming sound was, especially if there is a name to associate with the humming. Why is my 1 yr. old pug vomiting?
Our one yr. old pug, Bobo, has vomited yellow foam two or three times in the last month. We live on 5 acres and he and my GS roam all the acreage freely, with no problems as this is common place with all neighbors here. All my dogs, (3), are fully vaccinated. It seems like he gets sick early in morning…3-6 am.
He vomits yellow foamy stuff, and it looks like his stomach cramps up a little when he’s done. Pepto really seems to help as it settles his tummy. Other than that, he eats and drinks just fine. I don’t change his dry food often, but I switch between Pedigree and Alpo canned to mix in. Once in a while we give him a human snack, no bones though!! Also give him rawhide treats and beef rib bones, which are too hard for him to break. He is indoor/outdoor.
We’ve had him since he was 3 months old, and never had an issue till a month ago. Spunky and funny. But I’m still worried. Hope someone can help.
Well I know he’s not eating grass, we live in the desert. Taking him to the vet is my next step if he continues to vomit. However, he has only done so 2 or 3 times in the last month. No fever, clear eyes, and healthy appetite.

He’s probably eating grass, or some other type of vegetation. Dogs do that to make themselves throw up, kind of a cleansing system. Nothing too major to really worry about. But if it’s happening everyday you might want to follow him around and observe what he’s eating or just take him to the vet for a check up just to be sure he’s okay. You can never be too careful with your baby
